  • Rinse and Repeat for every post!

Social Media is a great tool to use for marketing exposure. Every post that you publish can be shared onto platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Putting things into perspective, imagine if you wrote a significantly helpful post that got shared 10 times. Imagine each person who shared it has 1000 followers.

Yes, that’s a possibility of 10,000 people seeing your post which may result in more shares, buying something from you or visiting your website. And best of all, this has all come completely cost-free!

The best way to easily share your posts is to download a plugin on your website such as ShareCounts. This way, when you’ve published a post you can easily connect up all social media accounts and share it within a click of a button to each platform. This will save you a lot of time compared to manually copying and pasting the link and sharing it!

Here’s a strategy you can use if you already have a reasonably good following on your platforms:

Guest posting is another great inbound marketing strategy. Guest posting entails reaching out to similar people in your industry and offering to write an informative article on their website/blog. Now, I know what you may be thinking.

Probably something along the lines of ”what’s in it for me and why would I take the time out to create a fantastic piece of writing to benefit a competitor?” It’s understandable and I thought this at first!

However, this strategy really is win-win for both parties. By guest posting on someone else’s site, in return you are going to get a link back to your website and normally a bio of yourself that includes your name, website and what you offer to your own customers!

Imagine if you could get featured as a guest poster on a reputable business site such as Forbes or Entrepreneur.

1.) Go to Google and type in ”Write for us + Your Industry e.g Digital Marketing”.

2.) Multiple sites will appear that offer guest posting (some are even paid).

Influencer Marketing

Infuencer Marketing is arguably one of the hottest topics around at the moment and an ever-growing trend that’s proving to be effective for startups. In fact, according to Influencer Marketing Hubthere has been a 1500% increase over the last 12 months for searches relating to influencer marketing.

The importance of visual social channels has become so important in 2019 that more and more startup brands are using influencer marketing to growth hack their way to success.

Influencer Marketing is a low-cost and effective way of promoting your brand via another person. This may be an industry expert that can relate to your services or maybe someone on Instagram who has over 10,000 followers and specialses in something similar to what you’re doing.

The approach to start influencer marketing is quite simple. All you have to do is find industry specific influencers and experts and reach out to them. Here’s an example of an opening message you can may send to them:

”Hi (Name)

I love your account/website and what you stand for. It’s obvious that we have a lot in common in our services and I was wondering if you would like to advertise for us by taking a picture with our product or putting a link in your bio to our service.

We would love to give you some free stuff or pay you in return for doing this for us.

Something along the lines of the given example would be a great as you’re offering something back in return and exchanging value which will spark their interest initially.

Sometimes, it may be a case of trial and error but just keep reaching out and targeting people until you have a break through. Influencer Marketing can really pay off if you hit the jackpot with even one highly-thought of expert.
